yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 10:06 p.m. CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain. This line of severe thundestorms was located from near Ste. Rose du Lac westward to south of Gilbert Plains and was moving to the northeast at 20 km/h. Locations in the path include: Gilbert Plains Dauphin Dauphin Lake ### Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.
