Waters from Bonita Beach to Englewood FL out 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM... At 215 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated numerous showers and strong thunderstorms over the eastern Gulf, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. The thunderstorms were moving north at 25 knots. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
