Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 20 at 4:01PM EDT until September 21 at 5:00PM EDT by NWS Key West FL* WHAT...Saltwater flooding.* WHERE...Upper Florida Keys.* WHEN...Through late Saturday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lotsis expected, with little relief outside of the hours of hightide. Some storm drains will overflow, and some seawalls anddocks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less clearanceunder fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that persistentpuddles around the times of high tide are almost certain tocontain a mix of saltwater.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
