In north central Kentucky, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Hardin, Henry, Jefferson, Larue, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble and Washington KY. In northwest Kentucky, Hancock and Ohio. In south central Kentucky, Grayson and Marion. * WHEN...Until 11 AM CDT /noon EDT/ this morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flood Advisory issued June 21 at 11:26PM EDT until June 22 at 2:30AM EDT by NWS Louisville KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following counties, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby and Trimble. * WHEN...Until 230 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1126 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Jeffersonville, Lyndon, La Grange, Middletown, Prospect, Anchorage, Worthington Hills, Barbourmeade, Coldstream and Northfield. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
